The Senior Manager, will be a key member of the US Commercial Myeloid and Lymphoma (MYL LYM) Finance team. They will partner across the different US MYL LYM brands to understand financial performance and provide reporting and metrics as well as develop and drive strategic initiatives for the MM team. The role will be located in Summit, New Jersey and will be a key contributor in providing financial stewardship and oversight for the US Commercial MYL LYM organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, US Commercial MYL LYM Finance, will be responsible for supporting all aspects of planning and analysis for US Hematology with a focus on Myeloid and Lymphoma. Partnering closely with Commercial leadership and Finance colleagues, this position will provide key support for making strategic and financial decisions while leading the day-to-day finance activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be an active member of the US Commercial Hematology Finance team
Work with key stakeholders to develop the US Commercial MYL LYM budget and projections
Partner with US Commercial MYL LYM leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and resource allocation
Develop US Commercial MYL LYM related performance decks to facilitate senior leadership business reviews
Work closely with US Commercial MYL LYM team to track analyze and understand brand performance, other KPIs, financial risks and opportunities
Analyze financial information necessary to provide insights to the US Commercial MYL LYM Leadership Team
Facilitate finance processes by actively coordinating with cross functional and corporate finance stakeholders
Collaborate across Hematology Finance and Global Finance to refine financial reporting and analysis processes before and after the integration of Hematology brand financials into SAP
Responsible for owning and improving the financial planning processes including development of timelines, reviews, deliverables, etc.
Maintain sound internal controls environment and ensure compliance with local laws and Companys policies
Ensuring relevant accounting procedures and controls are operating in accordance with US GAAP
Support various US Commercial Hematology Finance strategic initiatives
Partner with the Senior Director MYL LYM Finance to develop the strategy for the MYL LYM finance team
Support strong Finance organization attracting and retaining key talents and being a role model
Ability to work in a fast pace environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years experience in Finance
Relevant U.S. or other market experience in Pharma supporting multiple functions/BUs
Strong working knowledge of financial systems including SAP/Oracle and Hyperion preferred
Ability to work constructively across a complex matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large amount of complex data into meaningful insights and conclusions
Experienced in effectively communicating financial insights to senior leaders
Experience in product specific financial planning and analysis and sales forecasting is a plus
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
CPA, Chartered Accountant and/or an MBA is a differentiator
