WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Human Resources/People function within BCG is embarking on an ambitious program to modernize and scale its capabilities, powered by the implementation of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) application suite. As the IT HR Business Analyst, you will join a dynamic, global, matrixed team with primary responsibility for the design and rollout of Workday, our new cloud-based HR Platform.
Partnering with the HR/People function to understand their needs, you will be responsible for portions of the system design, configuration, testing, documentation, end-user training, and application support. You will be part of the Workday Delivery Team - partnering with the Product Owners, integrations team and fellow Workday Business Analysts to manage and maintain the BCG Workday system.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
The IT HR Business Analysts primary focus will be supporting Workday system design and configuration on the Workday Delivery Team.
* Partner with the Product Owners, Workday Support team and Workday Delivery team to identify areas for enhancements, and to resolve issues.
* Be a configuration expert on functionality within the Workday platform create clear and comprehensive specification documents for application modifications, as well as develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure quality of the application prior to deployment
* Become proficient in reporting/metrics functionality in Workday, including complex reports and dashboards/visualizations for end users
* Gain an understanding of the HR data model as well as associated HR business processes that drive the data
* Analyze existing employee data trends and gain insights to help drive system design
* Partner with architecture teams on system integrations design and deployment; understand downstream implications of data flowing from Core HR to other platforms
* Assist with design and facilitation of end-user training, both as part of the initial rollout and ongoing release management
* Coordinate with Workday contacts on release management including release preparation and education, required configuration updates, testing, documentation/training material updates, and post-release support
* Team with the Product Owners to develop a process for documenting and prioritizing system enhancements, using modern project/defect management tools
* Address ad hoc user support requests in a timely manner; take initiative to suggest next steps and solutions, engaging other Subject Matter Experts as needed
* Assist with the design and facilitation of end-user training, both as part of initial rollout and ongoing release management
* Team across BCGs Workday domain product owners to understand dependencies, impact and cross platform strategy
* Influences decisions within scope of role and responsibility
* Develops internal network with senior leaders within own function
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Education or Certifications
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field
Work Experience
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting HR systems in an analyst role
* 1-3 years experience configuring Workday
* Experience with writing requirements, including both business and system requirements
* Experience with collaboration tools preferred Trello, Slack, Egnyte, Jira, etc.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and presenting in English is required
* Experience working with global teams is preferred. May occasionally need to shift working hours to accommodate work with global team members.
Travel requirements (if applicable)
* International travel as required to make global change initiatives successful (<10% expected)
