Training Delivery Service HBSS Administrator
The Challenge:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. Were looking for a systems administrator who specializes in supporting and updating the Host Based Security System (HBSS) environment to help us provide onsite administration and technical support. You will provide analysis of the customer environment and assess HBSS requirements, including installation, configuration, and technical administration of HBSS product components. As a systems administrator on our project, youll troubleshoot to isolate and diagnose common system problems and document system events to ensure continuous functionality. Youll help our military client overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in HBSS, systems administration, Cybersecurity and DoD hardening. You Have:
* 2+ years of experience with system administration
* Knowledge of security compliance auditing, security practices, Cybersecurity assessments using standards, or DoD hardening
* Knowledge of IP networks, ports, and protocols
* Ability to configure systems and hardware for compliance standards
* Ability to interpret technical assessments
* Secret clearance
* HS diploma or GED
* CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
Nice If You Have:
* Experience with HBSS
* Experience with vulnerability analysis
* Experience with physical and virtual server architecture and network fundamentals
* Knowledge of product support for LINUX, Windows servers and end points
* Knowledge of command-line interfaces and scripting, such as PowerShell
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment
* Ability to work independently
* BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
* Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification for designated Operating Systems
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
