Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a facilities focused Senior Site Manager to support our business in Springfield, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs and is responsible for the integrated delivery of facility, logistics, engineering and environmental health & safety services to a United States government customer.
This position is located at a customer site and requires extensive customer interaction in a service oriented environment. The selected candidate will manage a team of 200 employees and suppliers to include approximately 8 First Line Managers, responsible for the successful operations and maintenance of a mission critical government facility.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and integrates employee and mid-level management within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance.
- Provides site leadership to a large, complex facility project management delivery team
- Acts as the principal senior leader onsite for all customer program needs
- Integrates multiple services from supply chain, facilities, engineering, design, space planning, operations, maintenance and environmental health and safety into cohesive customer focused solutions that address the customers highest priorities.
- Must be able to collaborate with senior USG officials across a wide variety of divisions to support operations and develop creative solutions to complex service needs.
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Participates in equipment make/buy decisions.
- Participates in source selection; provides technical oversight and integrates supplier activities.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first line managers.
This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph post-start
- Customer Service experience
- Management experience with Program Leadership
- Experience partnering with Suppliers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Current Counterintelligence Polygraph
- Experience with Government Customer Service
- Experience managing a large workforce
- Experience leading innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience leading technical and service delivery teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Facilities Management certification or similar
- Bachelors degree or higher
SHIFT/LOCATION: 1st shift position. Day to day work location will be in Springfield, VA.
RELOCATION: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
