Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for Quality Systems Specialist to join their team in SeaTac, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
Position Responsibilities:
* Primarily will Issue airworthiness release certificates for approvals on eligible articles (e.g., aircraft parts) to ensure compliance to type design and that the products are in a condition for safe operation
* May also determine acceptability of submitted requests for conformity and that the aircraft assemblies and/or articles meet type design and are in a condition for safe operation
* Will work with airline customer representatives to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Able to investigate customer problems in timely manner to provide response to concerns
* Must have team player attitude and able to work well with other organizations
Export Control Requirement:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* 3+ years of experience in quality inspection aircraft parts
* A&P certificate (FAA Airframe/Power Planet)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* 2nd Shift position Mon. Fri. 2:30pm 11:00pm
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Previous experience with receiving inspections of incoming and going of aircraft parts
* Shift work flexibility
* High School diploma preferred
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
