Job Description Summary

Responsible for performing various operational activities and provide support in assigned unit - First Line of Defense Operational Permanent Control (OPC) function. Assists OPC meet service levels consistently by coordinating information among internal customers and resolving moderately complex operational issues.

Essential Job Functions

* Responds to various moderately complex operational issues for internal customers.
* Prepares and customizes reports from systems of records.
* Inputs information into various systems of record from a variety of sources and synthesizes the information.
* Ensures activities are performed accurately, thoroughly, and in accordance with changing business risk appetite, dynamic regulatory, operational risk requirements, and/or industry best practices.
* Accountable for timely results in a dynamic environment.
* Receives and reviews incoming work, engaging appropriate resources as needed.
* Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects standard documents.
* Maintains knowledge of unit policies, procedures, standards and workflow.
* May act as an escalation point.
* Assists in identifying operational improvements.
* May review and analyze daily reports and make recommendations as necessary.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

* Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
* Requires 3 years minimum experience.
* May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Education

* High School Diploma or GED Required

Skills

* Good knowledge of the products, policies and processes related to unit assigned.
* Good knowledge of banking operations.
* Strong Knowledge of SharePoint and Excel, and other Office Suite products such as Outlook.
* Ability to perform reporting and customize reports.
* Knowledge of GRC tools such as Archer, Forum, BWise, etc.
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the three line of defense model, risk, compliance, and controls.
* Balances figures, computes totals and perform other mathematical calculations.
* Communicates frequently with other departments to resolve escalated issues.
* Utilizes multiple systems and software applications to complete required research.
* Strong communication skills.
* Retains accurate and appropriate supporting documentation.
* Trains other employees as requested.
* Performs quality assurance reviews or user acceptance testing as assigned.
