Designation: Principal Solution Architect
Team: Info Delivery Technology team

Asset Servicing Technology group provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients unique needs to help enhance the management, administration and oversight of their entire investment process and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measure investment data from around the world.

Qualification and Experience
Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of development experience in delivering reporting solutions for financial firms.
5+ years of experience working extensively with Business/Technical analysts and end users to understand complex business reporting needs
Team lead skills to manage up to 5 developers (onsite/offshore).

Skill Distribution
70% - Technical: 10+ years experience in developing interfaces, services, APIs and some reporting experience.
Required:
Reporting platforms skills
Strong in Data model
Messaging knowledge such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ
Database programming
Exposure to the Data Marts
Eagle PACE/STAR knowledge
Scheduling, data troubleshooting
Able to write complex relational Oracle/SQL server queries to help with validation of reporting solutions and data validation
Data vendor experience like Bloomberg data, Point and Yield book.
Financial systems and flow knowledge
Understand data/reporting requirements
Programming language
Testing the reports, migration and maintenance
Managing the development team
Dashboards experience
Eagle ML and data service layer
Ruby on Rails or Java knowledge
Exposure to XML, JSON formatted files
Technical Documentation
Enterprise Reporting platforms experience

30% - Business
Required:
Effectively communicate and understand project requirements
Knowledge of asset management, mutual funds, accounting systems flow.
Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time
Track the project and manage the time line and cost

Experience in implementing Financial / Asset Management industry-based applications
Knowledge of Middle office business

Role and Responsibilities
Work closely with onshore Business / Technical Analysts understand business requirements for designing and developing reporting solutions and manage the development.
Assist in working with all other Eagle surrounding applications
Develop reports, unit testing, and integration testing of the solutions
Independently assess whether the requirements have been met and design the best solution.
Document the data solutions that have been developed
Configuring services/APIs using Eagle ML, MC2, Jasper, Micro Strategy, SQL and distribution automation.
Commitment to learn new reporting technology
Manage few developers to help the projects.
Should be available for the production support as needed.
Work with senior data architects
Work with Eagle vendor and closely involve in the upgrade process

Summary: Principal Architect, Appl Development->> Designs technical infrastructure for applications and assists in defining application tools. Develops the applications architecture and blueprints which reflect business logic of the section or division. Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of vendor application software and tools. Provides technical guidance to cross-functional, cross-platform application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities, experiences and considerations. Acts as subject matter expert, as needed. Participate in mapping the technology-independent applications architecture to the chosen technology platform. Conducts reviews and analyses organizational needs to make recommendations regarding the development and implementation of applications. Stays abreast of the latest technology infrastructure and processes in the industry and marketplace. Makes recommendations to use innovative, creative approaches as appropriate to meet client needs. Helps resolve high-impact, moderately complex system problems affecting multiple applications or across multiple platforms using the appropriate debugging tools and techniques such as probes, animators, traces, sniffers and dumps. Contribute to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives. Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred 10-12 years of experience in systems architecture, analysis and applications program development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
