Job Description
Manages and negotiates provisioning and construction of real estate assets for network systems and operations for a large geographic territory. Real Estate - Manages capitol budget expenses pertaining to real estate acquisition. May manage the activities of commercial real estate agents to obtain or locate site properties. Represents the company in public hearings regarding zoning issues. Implements policies and procedures regarding the administration of real property and leases. Works with Legal to develop site leases. Interprets and applies and implements organizations policies and procedures. Responsible for creating budget inputs for the assigned territory or properties. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and initiating real estate transactions with various entities. Responsible for managing special projects, such as disaster recovery business continuity. Construction - Manages outside plant construction activities. Responsible for cost estimates, bid sheets, and layouts. Conducts/participates in contract negotiation activities. Manages and controls allocation of resources and materials. Handles zoning issues and building code issues related to construction projects. Interfaces and coordintates with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Manages construction and replacement activity planning. Manages pre-construction activities, including pre-survey and site planning. Develops construction schedules and determines staffing needs.
