DESCRIPTION

Amazons Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Sr. Program Manager to drive delivery of projects with huge strategic impact. BRP designs and builds high performance software systems using machine learning that identify and prevent account takeover. Our software and analytics teams constantly strive to outsmart those who attempt to defraud Amazon and our customers.

As a Sr. Program Manager working on Account Integrity, you will define the roadmap and own goals to increase security and reduce account takeover impact on Amazon Customers and the Amazon business. In this role, you will interact with a broad cross-section of the Amazon organization and negotiate effective solutions between teams to protect every Amazon account.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
5+ years of experience in program or project management
A Bachelors degree or higher
Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
Experience defining and executing against program requirements
Bachelor degree in a field with emphasis on business or technology (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Economics)
5+ years of Product Management managing/launching new products, services, or businesses
Demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
Proven presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Demonstrated experience with e-commerce, online identity, online payment fraud, Trust & Safety, or risk control functions
Proven project management skills of breaking down tasks, simplifying roadmaps, establishing owners and timelines, and status reporting
Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in e-commerce / on-line companies in fraud / risk control functions
Technical experience including proficiency in SQL
Track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders
Bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to think strategically and at the same time, be comfortable to dive into the details and stay on top of tactical execution
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Meets/exceeds Amazons leadership principles requirements for this role
Meets/exceeds Amazons functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
