In this position, we are looking for an individual with mobile development expertise and someone who understands current mobile application frameworks and features and device system constraints. We need someone who is motivated to tackle ambiguous situations within the team using new technologies to rapidly produce prototypes. You will help outline paths from prototype to product and be engaged with colleagues to drive the best designs and implementation, improving the teams technical knowledge and building best engineering practices on the team. You have an eye towards quality, and insist on the highest standards.
Be heavily involved with design and development to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes and transform them into exciting experiences.
Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations and processes that are used by the entire mobile team for development.
As a team member, promote engineering and operational excellence.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Programming experience with at least one modern, high-level programming language.
3+ years of experience performing Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
3+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications on iOS or Android and delivering to production.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS
Experience developing high quality, large scale applications.
Passion for mobile development. We would love to hear about apps youve developed.
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin.
Server development experience (preferably using Java or Kotlin).
