Job Description
This Advisor role is part of our Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) Strategy and Innovation team. Our Strategy and Innovation Teams goal is to improve the member and colleague experience through strategic ownership of capabilities and initiatives that will deliver outsized impact through ownership across Member Services. Strategy and Innovation is engaged across all functions of our PBM Operations, with particular emphasis on root cause analysis, solution ideation, design, and testing.
As the Capital Management Advisor you will be the primary steward of investment capital on behalf of senior leadership. In this role, you will closely with business partners whose projects are funded from the portfolio, as well as multiple stakeholders from across the business. You will be responsible for tracking and managing in-year capital as well as participating in future year capital planning. In addition, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the capital process through innovation.
The environment will be, at times, ambiguous and uncertain. You must be intellectually curious, highly collaborative, analytical, and an excellent communicator. Your demonstrated experience dealing with a fast-paced environment, with the ability to learn on the fly while understanding and solving new problems will be paramount to your success. You will manage multiple priorities at once with the highest level of attention to detail and will require a high level of independent judgment and initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
1.Portfolio Management the management of in-year capital (both IT hours and hardware/software dollars)
2.Portfolio Planning support the PBM annual capital planning process
3.Process Improvement work with business, IT, and Finance stakeholders to continuously update and refine capital allocation process
Required Qualifications
4+ years of consulting or related high-level analytical experience in an operational environment with experience in building complex business models.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred
Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity or uncertainty, and ability to learn on the fly to understand and solve new problems.
Proven ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent.
Demonstrated experience working with and creating complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Education
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
