Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Finance and CFO for CVS/Caremark Specialty; you will lead a team of 5 to provide financial and strategic direction. You'll have oversight of global business unit finance operations through expert review and consolidation of important enterprise financial information. You will partner with senior management teams to improve insightful financial and operational control of the business.
About the Role
You will directly interface with an EVP, SVP and VPs lthroughout the Core Specialty business including Mail, Careplus, Novalogix, WellPartner and Accordant, plus Coram, as well as the CFO, Finance CVS Health.
You will respond and work on matters to multiple executives associated with Specialty on a high level of financial activities as it pertains to Forecast, Budget and Strategic Plan.
Your Goals
General oversight of financial activities for a business unit/function. Partner with management to analyze and support P&L; responsibility. . You will support the FP&A; process across the specialty teams and will create analysis to support financial decision-making.
Lead/Support the coordination and development of business unit financial plans. Partner with /function leader to accomplish short and long-range strategic plans and execution across several departments. Coordinate development and monitor implementation of major action plans. Seize competitive opportunities and respond to performance shortfalls/plan variances. You will support the business and lead/support our forecasting and strategic planning process. Assist with the ongoing monitoring of results and metrics.
Lead teams of multiple managers and directors as well as lead a broad team with several unique product lines.
Support/help transition many of the monthly finance responsibilities from manual to automated. This requires a deep knowledge of the financial systems, interfaces along with the business.
Manage the financial planning process (Forecast, Budget, Strategic Plan)
Consolidate financial reporting to the executive committees and board of directors
Expense management for several PSS general and administrative areas
Coordinate all month-end and planning deliverables with Enterprise Financial Planning team
Financial system oversight: access, assistance, enhancements, and process changes
Required Qualifications
15 years of experience to include:
3+yrs Specialty Pharmacy experience
5+yrs. PBM Accounting
3+yrs managing a P&L;, minumum of $3B of revenue
3+yrs financial consolidtion experience
3+yrs experience presenting to senior leaders
3+yrs experience with accounting softward packages and general ledgers
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree

Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
