We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Industrial Technician to work under limited supervision, maintains manufacturing and support water treatment, compressed air, vacuum, gas equipment service to minimize breakdowns (particularly for manufacturing production). Performs all duties required to test, calibrate, adjust, repair, and maintain mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

Diagnoses, disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of complex equipment. Installs and maintains a broad range of equipment as well as electrical, gas, air and water systems. Performs maintenance on a preventive or emergency basis as required with a particular focus to maintain all work areas of the facility in a safe condition. May serve as lead and assign work to less experienced employees.

WHAT YOULL DO

* Repairs and maintains a range of manufacturing production equipment that includes, but is not limited to: ovens, presses, microscopes, automated machinery of various types and functions, water purification systems, tanks, pumps, etc.
* Conducts preventive maintenance and related compliance paperwork on all facilities equipment, by cleaning, adjusting, repairing, calibrating and replacing parts.
* Responsible for repairs to buildings including, but not limited to, repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, painting, etc.
* Repairs single and three phase electrical systems, such as air compressors, vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps and three phase motors including HVAC and plumbing repairs.
* Responsible for the treatment and purity of wastewater neutralization generated by production processes
* Assists in the establishment and execution of a preventive maintenance program. Maintains shop tools and supplies.
* Provides job skill training as necessary.
* Maintains licenses/certifications and remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise.
* Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence. Identifies and resolve maintenance issues; escalate issues when appropriate.
* Handling hazardous chemicals, chemical safety.
* May be required to oversee wastewater neutralization treatment operations for the site.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Two year technical vocational training and/or military experience.
* Minimum 4 years' experience.
* Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines.

Preferred

Experience working in clean rooms or sterile environments with HEPA filters a plus.
