JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the department and the property of Borgata.
Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount.
Must adhere to the Borgata's Policies and Procedures.
Orders and receives liquor, wine, and beer.
Maintains proper par levels and supply in the soda pump room, liquor pump room, wine room, and keg room.
Ensures accurate recordkeeping.
Implements and adheres to all beverage cost control, requisitioning, and inventory procedures.
Assists with keeping beverage department costs at acceptable levels.
Adheres to established food and beverage policies, labor relations, liquor laws and Health Department sanitary codes.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
Maintains a clean and sanitary, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Assists administering safety programs related to operation of equipment used in the receiving/storeroom areas.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Must be able to work in cold and warm temperatures as needed including but not limited to Garde Manger areas, kitchen lines, walk-in refrigerators/freezers, beer dispensing room, wine chilling rooms, champagne rooms, dish/pot wash rooms, etc
Ability to work in an environment where water, grease/oil, food, beverages, chemicals, will be present in different capacities.
Able to lift up to 150 pounds or the equivalent of one keg.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp.
Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED with one to three years supervisory experience in Warehouse/Beverage Operations is required.
Prior experience with E-Z Bar, Stratton Warren is preferred.
Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
