About the role

The Assistant Marketing Manager, Mens is responsible for supporting the craft and execution of 360-degree campaigns across channels including site, email, and in-store. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners including Design, Global Merchandising, Creative, Media, Social Media, Promo, PR and the Site and Email leads to ensure that marketing is implemented flawlessly. Success in the role will be contingent on an ability to story tell to various audiences, leverage the brands myriad of resources, a strong knowledge of both consumers and prospects, a passion for Mens product details, curiosity around events in pop culture, a thoughtful eye on the competitive landscape, and an in-depth understanding of the evolving media and digital landscape.

The primary objective of the role will be to support the brand strategy of the Mens business while reinforcing Banana Republics brand positioning and mission to acquire and engage new and existing consumers, and drive sales across channels.

What you'll do

* Assist in development, execution and QA of secondary and tertiary stories across channels including email, site, and in-store

* Work in close partnership with manager to brief the development of in-season creative and marketing concepts that can be executed across site and digital channels, in accordance with brand strategies, and to meet business goal objectives. Ensure assets are created with specific attention to end use mediums

* Partner with global merchandising and design to ensure that the marketing strategy for the Mens business is aligned with the seasonal vision of the brand and product collections

* Collaborate with the Site Merchandising leads to understand and develop brand strategies that will support growth specific to the online division

* Assist in compiling data to develop omni-channel communication plans and recaps of primary and secondary initiatives

* Co-lead packaging process from brief to execution in partnership with global merchandising, product development, and creative teams

* Assist with strategy and execution to support third party partnerships

* Support the Marketing Manager, Mens as needed

Who you are

* 2-3+ years relevant Marketing experience preferred

* Background in retail/fashion industry, direct to consumer, digitally native, or culturally relevant brands

* Undergraduate degree required

* Fluency with Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote required

* Airtable, Omniture and CRM experience a plus
