Responsible for all operational activities within the distribution center.

1. Oversees all inventory control policies and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy; including receiving of all products into system, control and audit vendor issues.
2. Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
3. Supervises all warehouse personnel, assigns tasks and duties on a daily basis, i.e., shipping and receiving of inventory and proper storage of parts.
4. Monitors accuracy of bin maintenance, stocking and order pulling to insure customer satisfaction.
5. Monitors expense budgets for repair and maintenance of equipment and overall building expenses.
6. Communicates directly with purchasing department on shipment errors and inventory needs, and schedules all inbound overseas containers to be received.
7. Oversees recycling center to assure correct scheduling of product.
8. Responsible for training and development of all warehouse personnel, to include hiring and evaluating employees.
9. Works directly with satellite managers on maintaining accurate delivery of stock orders and sold product transfers delivered on a daily basis.
10. Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
11. Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ Corporation quality improvement system.
12. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. College coursework desired. 3-5 years related warehouse experience. At least 5 years supervisory experience preferred. Additional computer training desired.
* KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Should possess special skills in the operation of a forklift in negotiating the lift in close quarters. Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures. Must be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends. Must have the ability to communicate, give direction and monitor employee performance.
* MACHINES, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE: Forklift, order selector, pallet jack, tow motor, pull cart, ladder, telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, and Microsoft Office software.
* PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery or performing supervisory responsibilities. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
* WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

•  2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.

•  On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
•  S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
