Data Product Manager, Clickstream

Expedia Group is looking for a smart, consultative, passionate, data & tech savvy individual to form a vital part of the Clickstream Team. Your role as Data Product Manager will involve implementing, improving and evangelizing user interaction data products across Expedia Group. As a specialist in user behavior data, you will partner with internal customers to understand their needs and help bring disparate datasets together to make it as easy as possible for users to find insights in our clickstream data.
What youll do:
* Product management Implement and improve Expedia Group's User Interaction Platforms & Products working closely with our customers and engineering teams
* Strategy Translate our business's goals into near & longer term requirements and ensure we're crafting our platforms based on the highest value use cases
* Data quality Audit and review implementation to flag tracking issues which could lead to the wrong business decision
* Support Act as an internal consultant providing support across the organization, crafting easy to understand internal documentation and establishing a training program
* Competitive intelligence Follow new technologies, compare with existing products and provide long-term recommendations
Who you are:
* Experience in a Data Product Management position preferred, or another Product Management role with relevant transferable technical skills
* High level of proficiency implementing and using third party behavioral analytics solutions like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MixPanel etc
* Good understanding of user behavior event capture implementations: JSON, JavaScript, Schema design & management
* Experience working with in-house (first party) Clickstream products/platforms preferred but not essential
* Comfortable manipulating large dataset using SQL queries
* A passion for data, analytics, ecommerce, online marketing and travel
* Ability to work collaboratively in a global and matrixed environment
* Direct and transparent approach to communication
* Naturally curious mind and appetite for creative and inventive problem solving. We are always anxious to try new things!

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce excellent technical specifications and documentation
