Amazon is seeking a Vice President of Digital Marketing & Infrastructure (DMI) to support our Amazon Web Services (AWS) business. As the VP of DMI, the leaders dynamic and progressive approach will drive initiatives that impact the growth of the AWS business. This role reports directly to the VP of worldwide marketing for AWS, and is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology infrastructure that powers the global marketing efforts of AWS.
We are seeking an innovative executive to lead our global marketing infrastructure team to manage the evolution of our marketing technology stack, including owning the architecture and strategy for the AWS web site, customer email/communication strategy and database marketing as well as developing and implementing the email, reporting and analytics tools and infrastructure. This includes both the development of custom software and the integration of packaged applications. In addition, this team is responsible for building and operating the BI, analytics, and data science tools used to measure the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of our global marketing programs.
On the engineering side, this role includes both custom software development and integration/extension of packaged tools to automate digital marketing activities across the web, site merchandising, social, and online advertising channels. These systems and tools are used across AWS to drive awareness of products and services, power digital campaigns for customer acquisition, driving awareness & adoption of AWS services, and nurturing customer success with adoption of our platform.
To be successful in this role youll need an established background in building highly-scalable and innovative digital marketing systems and processes, solid business judgment, great communication skills, and the ability to achieve results in an agile and quickly evolving environment. Youll need strong customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests from both customers & internal stakeholders. Strong team-building skills are essential as youll be managing multiple teams who take input from multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to motivate and lead a high-performing team globally using the Amazon Leadership Principles as guideposts by developing and coaching existing teams and retaining top-tier talent, as well as driving recruiting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
20+ years of relevant work experience in a marketing digital leadership position.
Deep experience leading teams who both build digital marketing systems and the teams who use these systems to run digital marketing programs.
Demonstrated success in product management, and/or project management.
Willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously
Bachelors degree
