What youll do on a typical day:

* Perform necessary preventive maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping
* Repair and maintain conveying systems, production machinery and packaging equipment
* Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble and move machinery as required to maintain effective production
* Repair or replace broken and/or malfunctioning components
* Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
* Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* 2 years of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of electronics and computer programming to repair machinery
* PC experience (PLCs)
* Availability for on-call support as required by teams rotation schedule

Itd be great if you also have:

* High school diploma or equivalent, and/or vocational technical school or on-the-job training
* Strong organizational skills and proven ability to multitask
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
