Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Manager, GSO Marketing to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Job Summary
The position will be responsible for supporting marketing efforts directed to B2B audiences within the following segments through Wyndham Business: Small & Mid-Size Businesses, Group & Meeting Planners, Travel Buyers & Managers, and Travel Advisors by driving new leads to the WHR Global Sales team and ensuring the NAMER GSO team has tools to effectively sell WHR hotels to B2B customers. This role is responsible for promotion strategy and implementation, analytics to inform opportunities for revenue growth through B2B marketing, account marketing for key managed accounts within the travel advisor and meetings segments and B2B customer communications. This position will work closely with the Director, Global Sales Marketing as well as the broader digital, Business Intelligence, Analytics, brand operations, and brand marketing teams to support the B2B marketing initiatives for the company.
Responsibilities
* Promotion Strategy & Implementation
* Support development of segment-specific promotions to drive incremental revenue through B2B customers by segment with a strong focus on Small & Mid-Size businesses along with continued support for the evolving Group & Meetings market as the current travel-restricted environment evolves following COVID-19.
* Project management to ensure alignment of key internal stakeholders to operationalize promotions i.e. digital, legal, communications, and sales teams and ensuring alignment through regional cross-functional teams as well as external vendors and agency partners.
* Segment Messaging Strategy & Account Marketing
* Support content management throughout B2B platforms in alignment with key segment messages. Platforms include partnering with WHR digital team and legal on Wyndham Business including all sub-pages, as well as the global and regional Cvent Supplier Network microsites, Social Tables white label search page and Wyndham Wise. Coordination with regional sales and marketing teams to ensure global consistency is vital.
* Develop messaging in collaboration with the respective sales teams as appropriate by segment and account for key managed accounts with contracted marketing plans within the Travel Advisor and Group & Meetings segments. Manage marketing plans and coordinate with external agency and internal design resources as needed to execute placements. Capture and report on performance by account as this information is used in account QBRs.
* Analytics & Reporting
* Support development and implementation of Wyndham Business dashboard to measure and report on site traffic, leads and ultimately revenue driven by marketing initiatives. Partnership with Business Intelligence and Analytics team to incorporate data from various sources i.e. Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Burst and use of Claravine for asset tagging is required.
* Utilize dashboard to measure KPIs by campaign to recommend opportunities to improve and optimize the investments through the B2B marketing budget by channel including email, digital, paid & organic search and through investments with industry trades like Business Travel News, Travel Market Report, Northstar Media Group, and others.
* Program Marketing & Loyalty Evolution
* Develop and work with agency partners to create sales tools in support of various GSO sales programs i.e. Wyndham Direct targeting both travel buyers and managers as well as small and mid-size businesses; and Wyndham Wise targeting travel advisors. Branding and execution of customer-facing email campaigns, call center scripts and sales enablement tools to promote revenue growth through these B2B programs and tools.
* Partner with Wyndham Rewards to support messaging for B2B loyalty program as it takes shape in the coming year.
* Work with GSO Marketing Director and GSO leaders to consult on marketing support for target audiences within managed and unmanaged customer bases to achieve revenue growth and increased member acquisition.
* B2B Customer Communications
* Develop content for and work with an agency to design a monthly customer newsletter the Wyndham Business Update - to be shared with managed and unmanaged accounts and prospects.
Abilities & Competencies
Incredible marketing and project management skills and solid fluency with creative agency projects and processes.
Must be an outstanding communicator, flexible, optimistic and eagerly drive results.
This individual will work with a coordinated team of creative / design partners, digital marketing leaders, project owners, legal and functional teams to drive creative projects; across global cross-functional teams
Candidate should be familiar with leading/driving web and digital marketing projects and traditional marketing collateral pieces.
Knowledge of internal WHR analytics systems i.e. Adobe Analytics and Claravine
Must be very comfortable developing project /status decks and documents, highly comfortable leading meetings, driving tactics that are connected to strategic priorities, taking direction and input from multiple sources and synthesizing feedback into actionable next steps.
Manage multiple projects at the same time while keeping tight focus on priorities.
Manage timelines and schedules effectively. Escalate issues and challenges to the right team members proactively.
Provide recommendations based on qualitative (anecdotal) and quantitative (data & analytics) information to enhance processes and drive results.

Experience & Education
Bachelors degree, Masters degree in Marketing preferred
Minimum of 3-6 years experience in sales & marketing
Strong project, organizational and time management skills
Ability to use independent judgment and makes decisions
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM system strongly preferred
