CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SUPPORT
* Partner with HRBPs to advise on workplace issues, disciplinary action and assessment of complex or sensitive employee relations cases
* Ensure consistent outcomes of employee relations resolution across seven divisions in accordance with federal, provincial, state and local laws and Company policies
* Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions and inquiries.
* Partner with Corporate ER team to deliver training and skill building experiences to enhance the knowledge of the field HRBPs in the area of Employee Relations and training for PCG Managers of others.
* Create, manage, and maintain ER content, tools and processes to provide support to HRBPs related to compliance, policy and employee relations updates via the PCG ER SharePoint site.
* Support the Director of Employee Relations in creating and implementing effective programs to maintain compliance with the requirements of federal, provincial, state and local laws
* Support Affirmative Action Plans, monitor overall performance and recommend corrective measures as necessary
* Support employee engagement initiatives and activities. Institute programs and events that encourage high levels of employee engagement. (i.e., engagement survey, focus groups, employee committees, etc.)
* Assist with special projects as assigned
2. EFFECTIVE HRBP FOR GROUP FUNCTIONS (Marketing, Finance, R&D)
* Provide support in the execution of HR policies, processes and procedures that lead to promoting and maintaining positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.
* Effectively support, communicate and build relationships with group functional stakeholder, key Business Leaders, Subject Matter Experts and Division/region stakeholders to achieve organizational goals
* Resolve employee disputes.
* Partner with HR Professionals to execute approved division/company initiatives
* Validate data integrity of all Human Resource systems. (i.e.HR Cloud, job posting system, learning management system, etc.)
* Communicate accurately and appropriately with employees/vendors in a timely manner.
* Administer and enforce HR policies and procedures and make recommendations for change as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all national, regional and local laws and regulations.
* Accurately complete reports in accordance with appropriate legal documentation (Annual Wage Survey, Compensation, Benefits, EEOC, OSHA, Terminations, etc.)
* Assist with special projects as assigned
3. RECRUITMENT AND ONBOARDING:
* Manage steps throughout recruiting process including, but not limited to, conducting interviews and making hire decisions and/or recommendations to hiring managers.
* Ensure employees are properly onboarded as they transition into new positions.
4. BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE:
* Understands relevant market segments, recognizes the factors that impact the various market segments and identifies opportunities that would impact the employees in the PCG group function.
* Networks - Communicates with customers, vendors, competitors, and associations to learn more about the industry and growth opportunities.

* Coach/guide/counsel career and leadership development of employees within business unit.

* Administer Progressive Discipline techniques when necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
1. Required:
* Bachelors degree
* 2. Preferred:
* HR Certification (SHRM or PHR/SPHR)
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
1. Required:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Employee Relations, Compliance, HR Processes & Systems, Policy & Procedure development and implementation
* Solid knowledge and experience applying HR related laws and regulations set forth by government agencies including the EEOC, DOL, NLRB, OFCCP, etc.
* Demonstrated experience in executing Human Resources activities across multiple locations and channels
* Demonstrated experience in project management
2. Preferred:
* Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all levels in the organization
* Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and plans of action
