Responsibilities
Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
We are looking for a committed and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join our Partial Hospital Program Team. Position would include running Occupational Therapy Groups as well as some individualized treatment. Position would include some travel to other Massachusetts locations.
Responsibilities:
* Select and adapt the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions
* Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
* Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals
* Collect date and document processes followed
* Regularly follow-up client
Skills:
* Proven working experience as Occupational Therapist
* Excellent knowledge of principles and practice of occupational therapy
* Familiarity with evaluation tools
* Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
* Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
* Valid license to practice occupational therapy
Qualifications
* Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
* Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
* High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
* Good communication skills.
* Must possess excellent vision and hearing, and the ability to read and speak English.
