GBH is seeking a dymanic and talented Director of Quality- Risk Management. Under the guidance of the CEO, the Director of Risk/Performance Improvement is responsible for administering and managing the facility's risk and quality improvement programs, as well as, all aspects of accreditation and regulation on the local, state and federal levels. Develops; implements and manages activities of the facility's comprehensive Risk Management & Performance Improvement Programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: risk identification and evaluation, claims management and quality control identification and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

* Develops and implements the organization's risk and quality improvement plans in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards
* Risk identification and Evaluation
* Risk Reduction
* Contract preparation: Evaluates contracts negotiated by the hospital with assistance from Corporate Risk Management when needed to ensure that insurance and liability losses are adequately addressed
* Claims management
* Committee Participation
* Employee and Physician education
* Incidents with Claims Potential

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education: Master's Level Degree from accredited college or university in Business, Hospital Administration or related field. Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience: Three (3) years' experience in Director/Manager Level Risk Management/Performance/Quality Control position in psychiatric/mental health hospital setting

Licensure: Texas License in one of the following: Registered Nurse, Social Worker (LMSW/ LCSW), Clinical Therapist/ Counselor (LPC)

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within 30 days of hire

Additional: Ability to compile, evaluate, analyze and present sophisticated statistical reports.
