We are looking for a Digital Advertising Manager to join our Divisional Marketing team in the Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD). This role is responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing global innovative digital advertising strategies for multiple business units. You will partner with dedicated agencies, market development teams, digital deployment teams, and marketing planning team to deliver high-performing digital advertising projects on time and on budget.

This position will support the day to day optimization of advertising campaigns as well as mentoring and training of the digital marketing production team on the management and deployment of these campaigns. The work will focus on strategy development, paid search, paid social and display advertising and will also include other channels (e.g. programmatic, IP targeting, third party advertisement etc.) and website merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the market development teams and digital vendors/agencies to strategize, execute, and optimize digital advertising programs through search engine, social media, display, IP targeting, programmatic and other channels

Manage campaign expenses in line with budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies

Collaborate with our analytics team to build reports and data visualizations that help stakeholders easily track and evaluate success of digital marketing programs

Guide and support regional teams in order to design testing and learning agendas for ongoing digital advertising optimization.

Influence customer experience creation with marketing program managers, digital production team and market development teams to deliver relevant, timely messaging to our customers

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on KPI metrics, and propose corrective measures where necessary

Keep updated with and test latest digital advertising tools, platforms and new technologies

Professional Experience and Qualifications

BS degree in Business, Marketing

Masters degree a plus

5+ years experience in digital advertising

Strong knowledge of SEM/PPC best practices

Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments

Possess excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills

Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Comfortable juggling multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines

Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations

Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills

Proven ability to build relationships and work independently

Experience within a B2B direct marketing environment. Scientific instruments industry experience preferred.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Excellent project management skills, with strong technical understanding of digital marketing and marketing technologies

Experience with Adobe Analytics

Experience with B2B search campaigns

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce.com is a plus

Practical experience doing business on a global scale
