What you will do
In this role, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and communicating brand standards, as well as designing, communicating, monitoring and continually improving integrated marketing campaigns to promote and communicate the Stryker brand to the Orthopaedic Instruments business unit.
The main objectives of this role are to set a communication strategy aligned with organizational objectives, and leverage tactics and messaging to influence the marketplace, build Stryker brand identity, capture prospect information, and nurture customer attitudes. The successful candidate will have superior knowledge of brand and communications strategy, multi-channel lead generation, nurture campaign best practices and analytics to support business decision making. They will possess a stellar command of written and spoken English, strong project management skills, and the ability to think strategically, execute holistically and orchestrate many moving parts. Experience within medical devices is highly preferred.
Responsibilities may include:
* Own, maintain and communicate brand standards and core messages throughout communication channels.
* Be the Stryker brand champion and advocate by proactively leveraging internal and external communication channels to tell the Stryker story.
* Responsible for helping define and maintain budget for communications programs.
* Share data and analytics from areas of responsibility within marketing and across the organization to improve company effectiveness.
* Monitor industry trends to continuously improve strategy and tactical execution. Identify marketing opportunities and work with product managers to develop marketing strategies and communication plans.
* Play a leadership role in cross-divisional projects.
* Serve as an advisor to internal customers in assessing and executing on identified marketing communications needs.
* Develop and execute strategy for internal and external resource utilization
* Own the strategic planning and tactical execution of awareness generation and nurture campaigns, including pull through to sales via Pardot, Engage, and salesforce.com.
* Maintain the corporate website, including OI website and content to ensure brand and message alignment.
* Develop, test and refine our marketing mix for ongoing improvement. Must be highly skilled and knowledgeable in traditional and digital marketing tactics and best practices for target market segments and attitudes.
* Build and manage campaign timeline and execution plans including campaign and project briefs and communicate plans and results to organization.
* Take a leadership role in identifying areas for improvement in campaign execution and product communications
What you need
* Bachelor's degree required - preferred in business, marketing or related curriculum
* 10+ years of work experience required
* 5+ years MarComm experience preferred
* 3+ years of people management experience highly preferred
* Pardot certification highly desired
* Proven track record of executing integrated marketing campaigns and driving sales growth through qualified lead generation
* Demonstrated strong working knowledge of strategies and tactics for demand generation, customer nurturing, and lead management success, including familiarity with Pardot
* Strong understanding of key program analytics with a strong ability to share insight and learning
* Experience in driving programs and projects across cross functional teams within an organization
* Superior command of written and spoken English; the ability to write original content. Understands the complexities and requirements of writing in a medical device environment
* Proven ability to learn a complex business, integrate with the sales team and provide value in positioning of the company and its products
