POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Manager is a key position in Stryker's Incubation of Medical Technology Division. This role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Cross-Divisional operating room and hospital snared communication technologies. The Program Manager is responsible for leadership and direction of high complexity R&D projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. This role oversees all aspects of the project from initiation to completion. Interfaces with all stakeholders affected by the project, including cross divisional R&D teams.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Manage technologies related to motor and robotic control for the corporation.
* Manage highly complex research and development projects under Strykers design control process for new product development.
* Responsible for working closely with cross-functional project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
* Responsible for project budget estimation, monitoring, and attainment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the project plan in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
* Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and closure of project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized changes to facilitate customer acceptance.
* Responsible to improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.
* Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
* Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success.
* Identify and lead the creation of or improvements to procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required.

* PMP Certification
* 8+ years experience; combined Electrical or Software Engineering with Program Management
