As a Systems Engineer, you will be involved with system level design of best in class orthopedic robotic surgical applications. You will have the ability to work with cross-functional sub-system teams to design software and hardware elements while blending engineer with bio-mechanics of the human body.

What you will do:
As a Systems Engineer, you will be involved with system level design of best in class orthopedic robotic surgical applications. You will have the ability to work with cross-functional sub-system teams to design software and hardware elements while blending engineer with bio-mechanics of the human body. You will also:
* Lead the design, implementation, and integration of system features (software, robotic arm, implants, and surgical instruments) to deliver best-in-class robotic-assisted orthopedic solutions.
* Work closely with developers and engineers to develop surgical applications and to develop internal processes to enhance scalability.
* Participate in, solicit feedback and document reports as needed on cadaveric evaluations.
* Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements.
* Independently implement complex concepts, draft design documentation, plan and conduct relevant tests.
* Support for the design of architectural concepts and the evaluation of new technologies.
* Work with minimum supervision on highly complex projects.
* Apply processes and Standards.
* Support maintenance and improvement of engineering methods and practices.
* Work with core team to determine project schedules and time commitments of self and other functional project team members and be able to clearly.
* Investigate novel problems.
* Design and implement solutions to address identified problems.
* Work under supervision with surgeon customers in a user setting, clearly communicate design goals and incorporate feedback into designs.
* Independently Integrate and administer development tools including required validation.
What you need:
* Bachelor's Degree; Computer Science, Biomedical discipline preferred
* 0+ years experience.
* Experience with Software, Algorithms, MATLAB, C, C++; mathematical concepts, preferred
* Have the ability to understand the interactions between systems, sub-systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions, preferred.
* Be detail oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills, preferred.
