What you will do-

You will be responsible for leading Strykers Redmond Purchasing team, including material replenishment, inventory levels, planning, and supporting new product development/sustaining initiatives. You will participate in the development of purchasing strategies and execute to reduce the total cost of both direct and indirect materials, while ensuring operations has the appropriate materials and quantities.

Additional responsibilities:

* Develop and implement purchasing programs that drive highest quality, lowest total cost and on-time delivery performance
* Support new product development through cross functional team engagement, scheduling of introductions, end of life and prototype processing with selected suppliers
* Manage inventory replenishment systems, MRP effectiveness and supplier visualization programs
* Focus on inventory management and controls
* Establish inventory targets and maintain re-order points
* Monitor and report supplier delivery performance
* Manage supply chain for distribution, production and aftermarket parts from supplier to customer
* Financial budgeting and monitoring of department expenses
* Develop, maintain and improve policies and procedures for the operation of department activities
* Work closely and partner with sourcing to ensure supply chain and operations objectives are met
* Fulfill departmental staffing requirements, provide coaching and conduct performance appraisals
* Facilitate career progression for direct team

What you need-

* Bachelor's degree required
* 6+ years of experience in supply chain management related roles required
* 1+ years of supervisory experience required
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry -preferred
