Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experience Security Architect to join our Identity and Access Management team in Quincy, Massachusetts to design security solutions for applications. The job will focus on designing multi-factor authentication solutions for internal applications and for the enterprise. The candidate should have a strong understanding of different authentication technologies and work experience as a security engineer or architect.

What you will be responsible for

As Security Architect you will

* Design MFA solutions for a heterogeneous portfolio of applications and infrastructure
* Design solutions for federated authentication
* Formulate an enterprise-wide authentication strategy
* Act as the IAM subject matter expert for authentication
* Evaluate vendor products, services and capabilities that will strengthen authentication at State Street
* Keep abreast of new developments and trends in cybersecurity, especially related to authentication, and identify ways in which State Street can keep pace with the industry
* Represent the IAM team in discussions with audit, risk and compliance groups about authentication capabilities and technology

Education & Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
* 5 10+ years experience as a security professional
* CISSP Certification preferred

Some travel may be required if outside the Boston area
