Job Description:
The Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division of SBD, which generates 70% of SBDs $14B in sales, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Operations Finance team. In this role you will support the Customer Service and Supply Chain organizations for the North America region. This role will report to the Finance Manager North America Customer Delivery and offers exposure across both the Operations and Finance organizations at GTS

Specific Responsibilities Include:

* Support the budgeting, forecasting, and Annual Strategic Plan for the North America Distribution, Customer Service, and Supply Chain organizations
* Develop department budgeting process across the organization; driving transparency to department costs and strategic investments
* Partner with the organization to support annual productivity and cost reduction initiatives
* Manage the North America Inventory and Accounts Payable forecasting process. Partnering with the organization to improve forecast accuracy and standardized reporting
* Understand operational activities such timing of physical inventories across the supply chain, impacts to sales, labor and other operational expenses
* Identify and develop tools to manage the business, provide visibility into key metrics and drive operating performance

Essential Skills and Experiences

* Strong operations finance experience in a dynamic, large company environment (manufacturing environment with multiple locations and distribution centers)
* Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills
* Ability to work in a matrix environment and build relationships with a variety of functions
* Effective communication & presentation skills, experience presenting to senior leadership
* Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives, including problem identification & resolution
* Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic and fast paced setting
* High level of energy and professionalism and strong attention to detail
* Act with the highest level of integrity and can clearly demonstrate and align to SBDs core values

Preferred Specifications:

* Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
* 2+ plus years of prior related experience
* Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as JD Edwards, Hyperion, Essbase
* Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
* Prior experience with reporting from a large ERP system
