Who You Are

* 5-7 years experience in search engine marketing (SEO or PPC). Agency experience is a plus but not required.
* Acute strategic and analytical skills.
* Bachelors or advanced degree in business, marketing or related field.
* Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment.
* Strong project management/organizational skills.
* Capable of leading and motivating a team.
* Strong communication skillsverbal, written, and interpersonal.
* Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple SEO projects from implementation through execution.
* Demonstrated ability to uncover SEO opportunities and execute on them to drive incremental results.
* Mastery of SEO best practices; on-page, off-page, and technical.
* Familiar with SEO software (Conductor Searchlight, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush).
* Strong proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio).
* Experience with link building campaigns a plus.
* Extremely capable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
What Youll Do
As a Search Engine Marketing Manager, youll be part of our Global Tools & Storage (GTS) team located in Towson, MD. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly competitive Search Engine Marketing Manager to join our growing digital team. The Search Marketing Manager will oversee the intersection of organic and paid search across our brands in North America.
Specifically, Youll
Reporting to the Group Manager, Search & Media, this person will oversee holistic SEO strategies, develop global SEO reporting frameworks, oversee paid search campaign execution and optimization, and work cross-functionally with copywriters, IT, front-end developers, and content managers to see ideas through execution.
* Monitor and analyze SBDs search engine market share vs. competitors.
* Partner with eCommerce teams to implement keyword research into the eCommerce product lifecycle.
* Overhaul our SEO reporting and fully maximize usage of enterprise SEO tools.
* Manage an SEO Strategist to drive improved performance across our brand websites.
* Partner with brand teams and outside agencies to plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns.
* Collaborate with global teams to create SEO global keyword database.
* Streamline and find efficiencies within existing PPC campaigns.
* Share SEO & SEM wins, learnings, best practices, and algorithm updates with the larger GCX organization.
