About the Role

Stanley Black & Decker, Global Tools & Storage is seeking to fill a key support role in building out a strategic eCommerce business platform and team. The organizations leadership team launched this team to ensure we develop targeted strategies, tailored initiatives, and optimized operations to address the unique needs of Tool Users and Professionals on a digital platform all in the strong belief that this is necessary to unlock and further accelerate the company's growth.

The eCommerce Strategy Manager will work to strategize and support the Director of eCommerce Strategic Initiatives in proposing business cases for new projects and approaches to build and scale the business to delivering on the strategy with recaps and report outs to support. In this role, you are expected to deliver the metrics of your teams initiative, meeting and exceeding its revenue and profit targets. You will support and implement the strategy, partnering cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Ops, Product etc. in order to enforce its execution. You will be expected to know your business inside out, as well as its customers and be an advocate of it throughout the organization.

We are looking for a highly analytical individual and team player with previous experience launching, supporting, and scaling a new initiative in a product-forward company.

Responsibilities:

* Driving the strategy for a high-growth Initiative. You will work closely with the Director, the Transformation office, and other teams to design and scale a new initiative, tracking metrics and user feedback to continuously optimize the proposition in the market
* Analyzing, measuring and reporting impact. Conduct data analysis, market research, and user research to identify opportunities to continuing improving your metrics
* Collaborating with internal and external teams. You will partner closely with finance, sales, channel marketing, product marketing, operations and Global Customer Experience, as well as various support teams, to succeed

You will also:

* Identify opportunities by staying up to date with new technology, industry trends and competitive landscape.
* Lead business requirement definition, in partnership with IT and business teams
* Identify and reduce internal processes or system inefficiencies
* Identify, track and report on all initiatives

Qualifications:

* 6+ years of professional experience with evidence of increasing responsibility
* Prior experience implementing a new initiative in a product-driven tech or eCommerce company
* Strong exposure to digital marketing strongly preferred
* Strategic thinking and creative problem solving. Consulting experience is a plus
* Tactical experience designing, building and executing scalable products and processes, ideally in a channel and operational intensive environment. Willing to dig in and do what it takes to make sure the business succeeds
* Excellent quantitative skills and aptitude
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Humble and effective cross-functional team player
* Prior experience working with a Big Box retailer or Omnichannel experience is a plus
* Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in an analytical field or exceptional equivalent work experience
* A passion for Stanley Black & Decker, Global Tools & Storage and where it is headed
