MuleSoft is looking for an innovative Director of Product Management and Operations, who will create the vision and operational model for MuleSofts next-generation MuleSoft Ecosystem for Integration Assets and Product extensions. The marketplace will be the primary location for thousands of MuleSoft customers to find assets and solutions that maximize the value of the MuleSoft platform. In this role, you will use your business judgment and operational expertise to deliver a new platform to support Mulesofts partners, internal development teams and customers to accelerate the vision of the Application Network. Your vision will transform this Marketplace into a multi sided solution that delivers value for end customers and drives value creation for Software providers and Systems Integrators. You will own the full end-to-end certification lifecycle for a high volume of global software partner submissions, and help define the end-user experience for how those assets are promoted and delivered to our customers.

The ideal candidate brings passion about introducing new platforms, marketplaces, and operating models into a rapidly growing ecosystem, solving critical user problems in an innovative, automated, frictionless way. The candidate should also be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders across product, engineering, business development and marketing.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'd be doing:

* Engage with customers, SI partners, ISVs, and internal stakeholders across the entire organization to define the vision and the future of our MuleSoft Ecosystem

* Manage the day to day operations of our global assets and their lifecycle.

* Identify & define operational needs required to operate a global marketplace at scale, work with the team to design forward-thinking solutions

* Coordinate with the development team to deliver the future MuleSoft MuleSoft Ecosystem

* Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, milestones, etc.

* Management and delivery of Certification service and related certification support for ecosystem publishers, publishing via Partner Center for the assigned offer types in ecosystem. Accountable for specific certification SLA and metrics

Job Requirements
* Product management experience

* Proven ecosystem expertise (whether in business or consumer environments)

* Cross-functional experience working with engineering, sales, and marketing

* Experience with or demonstrable comprehension of commerce and payment platforms, process, regulations, and experiences both for buyers and for sellers.

* Demonstrable interest in MuleSoft and Salesforce technologies

* Saas experience, or software project implementation

* Basic understanding of APIs and their value

* Ability to work with other PMs who have dependencies on you and vice versa. Others

Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

* Passion for working with APIs and developers.

* 5 years of partner program or product management experience

Preferred qualifications:

* MBA

* Understanding of the software development lifecycle, product certification and content management platforms

* Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across Engineering, Field Sales, and Business Development.

* Ability to thrive in complex and dynamic organizational environments.

* Previous experience leading operations for vendor management, digital content pipelines and ingestion, technical account management, product management, or system administrators

What to expect when you start:

* 30 days:

* Become an expert in Anypoint Global Exchange and the certification process

* Learn the MuleSoft product portfolio

* Learn about the current MuleSoft partner community

* Meet key stakeholders in Business Development and Product Management to familiarize yourself with the current Anypoint Global Exchange environment

* 60 days:

* Interview further internal and partner stakeholders to document requirements for the next-generation Ecosystem and identify current gaps addressable in the short-term

* Implement improved operating procedures for current Anypoint Exchange

* 90 days:

* Define vision for MuleSoft ecosystem

* Scope out delivery plans/options working with a small group of engineers to identify implementation plans
