The Programmer retrieves electronic documents/files from the network and organizes and prepares documentation for multiple jobs. The Programmer will also evaluate specifications for Direct Mail Production jobs, which will entail data manipulation, programming the business logic rules as required to fulfill Client specifications and manufacturing requirements. Work with CSRs in reviewing and releasing jobs to the manufacturing floor.
Responsible for the programming and postal processing of direct mail services. Responsible for following quality assurance procedures, providing assistance to other programmers and other departments, developing solutions to meeting unique customer needs, and any other tasks designated by the department supervisor or manager.
* Programming direct mail projects
* Writes programs to fulfill the Client and manufacturing requirements

Required Experience
BS degree in programming or related field or minimal 3 years industry work experience.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access)
* Strong internal and external customer satisfaction focus
* Programming experience in PrintNet T (by GMC Software Technologies, Inc.), in PReS (by Print Soft) or Composer (by Scitex) would be beneficial.
* Expereince with XLO programming is a plus
* Mail personalization and postal processing knowledge a plus
* Additional experience with Quark, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat (not just Acrobat Reader) is a plus
