Engineering Managers are the technical experts. They are responsible for hiring, managing, mentoring, and growing teams of software engineers and have a passion to build. They work with product and program managers to translate product visions, business cases, and user experiences into technical requirements, scope development effort, and assign resources to execute against the prioritized product roadmaps. Engineering managers are responsible for the overall quality of the code both new and existing, and ensure their teams have the tools they need to be successful. They are the architects for their space and collaborate on cross team designs with other engineering teams and business units to ensure a unified platform that scales and supports company growth.

As a Software Engineering Manager Supply Chain Systems (SCS) you will be building solutions that power a complex global supply chain. The successful candidate will have influence over the vision, features, and design of Zulilys Procurement and Inventory Placement optimization, and the Unified Network Inventory domains. High availability and scale of tier 1 services should be your passion. You will lead and manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle from strategy through delivery and production operations. You are responsible for all things 'people' on your team hiring and developing a high performing team of software engineers. You are confident operating in an agile environment and have a strong bias for action, using metrics to ensure the successful operation of your services and to drive innovation.

Qualifications

* 7+ years experience in developing high availability, large-scale products and features
* 3+ years experience in managing high performing software engineers
* Experience with end-to-end ownership of a Tier 1 Product
* Strong distributed systems architecture, design, development and operations experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment
* Ability to lead and influence others, find creative solutions and move quickly to deliver
* Ability to collaborate with team members throughout the process and consult with other project teams on the design and use of enterprise data
* Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach and ability to measure impact of project
* Exceptional communication skills
* Experience in supply chain and/or warehouse management systems is a plus
* Experience with architecting, and operating, cloud-based services with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

Education

Bachelors Degree required or equivalent experience, Masters Degree a plus
