Position Description

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to work as part of its award-winning in-house legal team.

This Senior Corporate Counsel will be a true corporate and commercial generalist. The mix of duties may change from time to time and vary based upon the Companys needs. Duties are expected to include legal support for a range of corporate and commercial activities. Initially, it is expected that responsibilities may include support for corporate activities (e.g., financing), commercial activities (e.g., drafting and negotiating contracts) and counseling clients on a range of business and legal regulatory issues. This position may also provide assistance to the Corporate Secretary and assist with SEC filings.

The incumbent may also provide support for one of the Regions which includes counseling the regional leadership team and supporting lab operations, negotiations with customers and drafting of contracts and/or supporting a functional area or division.

The Sr. Corporate Counsel will report to a member of the Legal Management Team. The role is planned to be based at the Companys Secaucus, NJ, headquarters, however other locations with be considered.

Qualifications

Competitive candidates will have a J.D, be duly licensed to practice law, and have 5+ years of relevant experience. Top-tier credentials are required for consideration.
