Sling’s Adobe Platform team is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target across all sling.com digital properties.

The AEM Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the strategic and technical vision for AEM on the Adobe Platform team. S/he will seek to follow industry standards and best practices in order to implement high-quality CMS solutions. S/he should be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, guiding and mentoring developers and working with business partners to deliver awesome customer experiences. 

You will. . .

Serve as the strategic and technical leader of our Adobe CMS solution (AEM)
Architect and design the component model that will serve both web and mobile solutions using Adobe Experience Manager
Mentor and manage team members in creating best-in-class web experiences through AEM
Bring industry best practices to bear in building and optimizing Sling.com and our other web properties
Install and configure Adobe Experience Manager for on premise solutions or cloud based solutions
Effectively communicate physical architectural designs to internal stakeholders
Develop AEM templates and components leveraging AEM Sightly framework
Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
Work with our Analytics team to advance Sling's data-driven capabilities
Implement and help architect A/B targeting scenarios

You have . . .

Experience in architecture, design and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (6.0+)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Minimum 5 years experience in Web Content Management and at least 3 years of AEM.
Strong front-end technology experience in React, Angular, JQuery, CSS
SOA development experience using NodeJS and related technologies
Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
Skilled in building relationships with clients and in practice development activities.
Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
Experience collaborating and communicating across business, technology and analytics teams
Experience working with Single Page Applications (SPA) such as React.js
Experience integrating Analytics and A/B Testing tools into Content Management Systems (preferably Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target)
