Location Profile

The Ceramics Group segment of PCC Airfoils and consists of three manufacturing locations Wickliffe, Ohio, which also serves as Ceramics headquarters, Cleveland, Ohio, and Sanford, NC. The Ceramics Group operations supply ceramic cores and proprietary custom blended ceramic particulate systems used in the manufacturing of the investment castings. Products and systems manufactured in these operations include: custom blended ceramic shell systems, injection molded silica and alumina cores for investment cast airfoils, slurry cast cores for landbased turbine casting applications and ceramic extrusions. The operations are expanding due to sales volume increase and this provides unique opportunities for career growth and development.

Position Summary

Perform maintenance tasks on plant facilities and on production equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to schedule. Assist with general electrical wiring, basic equipment troubleshooting and repair, basic carpentry, plumbing and masonry as directed. Assist with movement of equipment within the facility. Assist with movement of hazardous waste (flammable) from satellite accumulation area to holding cage as required.

* Must be able to operate fork lift truck
* Basic knowledge of tools
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Injection Molding Machine experience a plus
* Excellent attendance record
* Willing to work overtime when required
