Job Description

As a Process Team Supervisor, you will coordinate problem-solving activities for batches that are processing abnormally, identifies and works with teams on corrective actions and opportunities for optimization

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinates and manages day-to-day and long-term activities of Paint Plant Process Team, FLC Team and RDPT Team
* Coordinates all IC, Auto and Pkg Customer CAIRs. Works on corrective actions and customer responses (8D).
* Works with QMS Supervisor to incorporate lessons learned and non-conformances into Quality Management System. (PFMEA, Control Plans and Process Maps).
* Responsible for safely and successfully introducing new products to the plant floor.
* Leads batch autopsy processes to drive corrective actions for abnormal batches.
* Responsible for providing direction and leadership to the Process/FLC/RDPT Teams, staff the department, develop associates and optimize talent. This department interfaces with all Technical departments at Oak Creek and will be the main bridge in communication between technical and manufacturing. There will be interface with other PPG facilities and customers.

Qualifications

* B.S. degree in Engineering, Chemistry or other physical science strongly desired.
* 8-10 years of experience with paint or resin manufacturing and lab experience.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
