Job Description

As a Process Powders SME, you will serve as the company global SME on the best practices in design, operation, and products utilized on the given area that maximizes its Global Manufacturing KPI performance and the business goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Document the process design, operation, controls of a given process area of the commercially demonstrated Manufacturing KPI performance
* Develop with Engineering and Manufacturing Leads brownfield opportunities that move an existing asset to company best in class performance
* Maintain an ISBL clean P&ID of ideal process area setup and expected performance of process in terms of capital and operating cost
* Coach Manufacturing teams on best operation of subject area
* Serve as troubleshooting support for escalated non-standard performance in manufacturing
* Work with business and Advanced Manufacturing teams on subject process area that will move the needle on current standard performance.
* Serve as relationship manager for critical equipment providers in subject area
* Work with procurement to identify alternative suppliers of sole sourced equipment
* Work with Engineering and Maintenance Mechanical Reliability teams to identify improvements and spec in best performing parts and designs.

Qualifications

* Bachelors of Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical)
* 7-10+ years experience in chemical manufacturing with experience in, manufacturing operations, capital project execution, process development and/or new product introduction
* Experience in batch and continuous operations preferred.
* Recognized SME for equipment/process assigned to them
* Fluent in DMAIC/DFSS project execution
* Fluent in new product/process introduction work processes.
* Experience with cGMP, ISO, TS16949 or other quality systems preferred.
