We are looking for a detail oriented, ambitious self-starter to join the growing Strategic Initiatives team as a Solution Architect.

Primary responsibility of this position is to guide and be the subject matter expert on verticals for our SuiteSuccess Verticals and Last Mile Configuration and help them create the Vertical Editions of NetSuite with the highest quality and competitive advantage.

In this position, you will use your NetSuite experience and industry domain expertise to create new SuiteSuccess offerings. You will need to have a strong understanding of core NetSuite processes and functional implementation capabilities using the full range of NetSuite's native modules and platform tools, to include but not limited to - Dashboards, Analytics, Saved Searches and Reports customization, Workflows, SuiteBundler, SDF, Suite Script and so on.

Strong written skills and attention to detail are key requirements in this role. In addition, in this role, not only will you find opportunity to reinvent how solutions are created, but also you will influence the product roadmap based on the market needs and customer feedback.

Members of our SuiteSuccess Architecture will work closely with the Last Mile Configuration and SuiteSuccess Vertical groups to guide them creating the Vertical Editions of NetSuite with the highest quality and competitive advantage. They will also interface with a variety of other teams to ensure that the best possible configuration is available for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of cross techno-functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.

Identify, understand, define customer needs, objectives and business requirements, and design a solution through qualitative and quantitative research.

Get customer feedback on proposed designs early and often. Rapidly iterate to learn from customers and get to the best solution.

Liaise between Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and Professional Services to deliver solutions to exceed complex customer requirements.

Actively provide feedback to Product Management on ways to improve the product and make recommendations on corrective actions to resolve existing product and customer defects.

Create user stories and feature requirements that clearly articulate the customer needs and the desired functionality and experience.

Collaborate with Experience Designers, Engineers, and other product teams in an agile development environment to design and deliver great products to our customers.

Work directly with cross functional teams inside NetSuite Oracle to achieve one goal make NetSuite + Oracle 1 ERP.

Work directly with the ERP Configuration Group team to guide and architect vertical solutions.

Work directly with the SuiteSuccess group to help them with configuring the most competitive vertical offerings of NetSuite + Oracle.

Design solution and scripting guidelines for vertical editions.

Create and maintain templates to increase productivity and ensure the quality.

Engages with customers to deeply understand their needs and raise their voice to innovate product solutions with great user experience.

Skills and Expertise:

* Bachelors' degree preferably in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent. Master's degree is highly desirable

* Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership, both written and verbally.

* High level of comfort with ambiguity; ability to structure unstructured problems and resolve quickly. Create project structure without explicit direction.

* 5 years' experience of NetSuite functional and technical consulting with a strong and demonstrable product understanding including process flows, dashboard configuration, reporting and analytics, in SuiteFlow & SuiteBundler with SuiteScript knowledge a plus.

* At least 4 years of experience with developing, scaling, and maintaining web-browser solutions.

Responsible for the delivery of Product Specifications Documents to supplier partner(s) or delivery of process specifications to meet business specifications.

May be done in partnership with business partner(s) or via guidance to business partner(s) for execution. Defines system specifications needed to roll out flexible business models. Responsible for understanding business objectives. Performs process or functional analysis to identify gaps compared to specifications, confers and/or drives issues with management for resolution, and ensures overall fulfillment of business specifications. Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts. Advises and consults with business teams prioritizing allocation of people resources, addressing project team problems ensuring that all team deliverables are met, and developing and presenting proposals of project plan and getting agreement from appropriate stakeholders. Understands and applies theories to policies and operating environment needed to effectively and efficiently complete assignments.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
