Photo Summer Intern

The New York Post is seeking energetic and highly organized photography interns to join our visual team this summer! Come take part and continue a long tradition of compelling photo journalism and visual storytelling through the lens of a truly unique brand, bringing vision and creativity as we continue to grow across all platforms.

The goal of our internship program is to educate students on the day-to-day work of photographers and photo editors in a dynamic newsroom. The ideal candidate would be a hard worker with an eagerness to learn, who pays attention to detail and has a love for all forms of visual storytelling.

Responsibilities may include: basic administrative duties, editing, production, image trafficking and event coverage.

A portfolio should be included with your resume.

What youll need:

* Photography/Photojournalismmajors are preferred
* Must have great news judgment with knowledge of entertainment, news and sports

* Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a must

* Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite required; familiarity with WordPress a plus

* Ability to find multimedia content that enhances stories

* Knowledge and use of all mainstream social channels

* Ability to multitask, balance priorities and thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment

* Polished communication skills, both written and verbal

* Passion for all things digital and The New York Post!
