Performs various mechanical duties on machines and equipment needed for production.
Ensures safe, healthy, and organized working environment for all areas.
Ensures all safety protocols, which are certified to OHSAS 18001, are adhered to throughout the plant.
Follows the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for operations, including SOP, SPI and Test Methods.
Examines machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
Dismantles or partially dismantles machines and performs repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts.
Replaces broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock.
Reassembles machines and makes necessary adjustments for operation.
Installs or repairs water, steam gas, or other types of pipe and pipe fittings; cut various sizes of pipe to correct lengths with chisel and hammer or oxyacetylene torch or pipe cutting machines; thread pipe with stocks and dies; bend pipe by hand drive or power drive machines; assemble pipe with couplings and fastens pipe to hangers
Hydraulic; Set up and operate standard machine to make parts, tools in the machine shop.
Perform welding; light electrical jobs and other duties as required to maintain our manufacturing and office facilities.
Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance.
Monitors equipment and/or processes and ensures timely reporting of any unusual problems to supervisor.
Follows company operating procedures and guidelines.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills.
3 or more years industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to read and understand procedures in English. Effective communication skills, listening skills, attention to details, and ability to organize and retrieve information. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to manage several projects at once. Ability to work in a team environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate may be exposed to the risk of electrical shock or vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
