Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Public Cloud Security, you will be responsible for building, managing and focusing on public cloud security program. As a manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of security functions and supporting business processes to keep Micron workloads secure in public Clouds. In this role, you will lead a technical team of engineers by bringing together standard methodologies for security and engineering to public cloud systems.

This position requires working closely with senior leadership globally to lead all aspects of day-to-day matters, solve issues proactively, identify new opportunities, provide advisory on workloads moving to public cloud and drive initiatives through to completion.

* Strong verbal and written communications skills; must be able to effectively communicate technical details and thoughts in non-technical/general terminology to different levels of the organization.
* 10+ years of engineering management experience leading productive, high functioning teams, atleast 5 years in public cloud space.
* Ability to attract and hire talent, keep the team motivated, demonstrated success mentoring team members and handle performance management.
* A track record of consistent delivery and driving innovation.
* Ability to adapt quickly, build in increments and iterate.
* A sense of urgency with growth mentality and excellent prioritization skills.
* Experience running production services in public Clouds.

Technology/Tools/Platform

AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, CFT, Arm templates, Python, Application architectures and frameworks, Docker and Kubernetes, RESTful APIs

Required Skills

* Experience in cloud security covering any 2 of the public cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure.
* Good understanding on how to deploy applications to the cloud, run them at scale, and integrate them with the rest of ecosystem.
* An understanding of large scale computing solutions, including software design and development, database architectures, IP networking, security, and performance tuning.
* Good understanding of Application architectures and frameworks, Docker and Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases
* Good understanding of application security fundamentals.

Education

Bachelors (Master's Preferred) degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Security/Information Technology
