The Opportunity:

In-house agency seeks a Sr. Brand Designer for the Global Marketing Communications Team covering Barbie and Dolls brands. Must have stellar production, branding and design chops, digital experience, and exceptional Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign abilities. Highly skilled, detail oriented, and nimble capable of creating distribution production assets across multiple mediums including print, experiential, web, social, apps, and games.

Responsible for on-time delivery of global guides and high-res asset for all brands, across multiple media channels including print and digital, and high-quality production of layouts following editorial, design and brand specifications of each project.

Provides technical support, mentoring, training and guidance to Graphic Artists, creative and business partners. Monitors and maintains industry standards and reproducibility of digital imagery reducing printing and digital usage challenges. Continuously demonstrates understanding of and executes agreed upon technical standards and processes seeking continuous improvements and efficiencies.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Effectively translate the Barbie and Dolls brands signature style into successful, strategic, engaging advertising and design that is distributed globally

Take big concepts and ideas and translate across all mediums including advertising, print, broadcast, licensing, tool kit/guide creation, trade shows, galleries, merchandising, catalogs, interiors, retail and social

Design work that is on-brand, compelling and synergistic with the current campaign

Collaborate with team in a positive and productive manner including partnering with copywriters, producers, marketing partners and fellow designers to ensure best-in-class design, production, and delivery

Build relationships with global contacts and assist/advise them as needed

Oversee and maintain ownership of work from concept through to production

Work on multiple projects, at once with ease, prioritizing multiple critical deadlines

Meet scheduled deadlines with a fluctuating workload, manage individual time and projects, while maintaining high quality standards established by the organization.

Take direction and follow instructions, as well as to work independently with little or no direction.

Ability to shift priorities quickly to meet the needs of an often changing business.

Attention to detail and a dedication to being organized, as well as patience when work is interrupted or delayed.

Must have a proven work history that demonstrates reliability and an ability to multitask, in addition to a desire and demonstrated initiative to continually update current level of expertise.

Ability to train all skill levels on various graphic industry knowledge and possess strong communication and presentation skills.

What Were Looking For:

A portfolio demonstrating solid experience in graphic design and art direction

At least 5-8 years experience within a corporate or agency environment as an art director or designer

Experience shooting both print and broadcast

Computer proficiency; extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Excellent decision making abilities

Experience presenting work internally and to clients

Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation
