As an Electronics Engineering Product Team Lead, you will drive the development of an advanced Avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Lead the development of a world class avionics assembly.
Lead cost, schedule, and technical effort related to management of scope, size, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking.
Direct the design and development of common avionics products.
Preparation for and participation in major program design reviews (System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR), Test Readiness Review (TRR)).
YOU WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Validating performance.
Supporting failure investigation processes.
Material review processing.
Manufacturing support.
Discrepancy documentation and resolution.
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
14 - 20+ years of professional experience for this role.
You need to have an active Top Secret clearance to be considered, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience leading a technical, multi-functional team in the development of high reliability electronics products.
Experience with aerospace flight hardware design, analysis, manufacture, or test and integration.
Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) duties including Earned Value Management (EVM) and keeping a large effort on track to performance and delivery expectations.
Active Top Secret clearance to be considered, thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Project Leadership/Management Experience throughout the engineering life cycle: scoping, sizing, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking.
Knowledgeable at a systems level in the areas of solid propulsion, missile propulsion flight controls, harness design and routing, strength of materials, electronic controls design/analysis, telemetry and command design/analysis, command data handling, software, and radiation hardened electro-mechanical systems.
Previous experience as a Certified Principle Engineer (CPE) or Product Lead.
Demonstrated experience leading a large problem investigation and root cause analysis effort.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and customers, simultaneously and independently.
Ability to drive hardware production activities through delivery to the program.
Must have familiarity/experience with subcontracts.
Previous experience mentoring employees.
Familiarity with Materials Engineering or related field.
Preparation for and participation in major program design reviews (System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Design Review (MDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR)).
Experience in Earn Value Management (EVM) applied to product development.
