This position is for the F-16 Integration & Test engineering team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The selected candidate will manage the F-16 Integration & Test (F-16 I&T) engineering team, responsible for performance of laboratory integration testing, support of Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) flight test, support of customer Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) flight test, and production/modification aircraft ground checkouts for F-16 Avionics systems. Team responsibilities include analysis of customer/design requirements, derivation of test requirements, development of test plans/procedures/AEIs, performance of avionics system integration lab testing, support of developmental flight testing in Fort Worth, Greenville, and on-site at customer test locations, analysis of test data, coordination of test results with LM development teams and program/project management, and performance of Avionics System Level Verification Test (ASLVT).
Team Manager responsibilities include personnel management for a team of approximately 35 engineers including employee recruitment, interview, selection, training and competency development, performance assessment, salary planning, talent management, and career development. Responsibilities also include Earned Value Management and Control Account Management by program, regular briefings of team performance, risks/opportunities, workforce planning/forecasting, and facilities planning to E&T senior leadership. The candidate will provide leadership to the team to ensure consistent processes are deployed and utilized to execute the work. The candidate will drive innovation and affordability through common solutions in products, processes, and tools including continuous pursuit of team performance and quality for improvements. The candidate will additionally facilitate and support of enterprise Zero Baseline initiatives and expanded the use of automated testing while being highly engaged in modernization/automation of the test infrastructure to create a competitive advantage for the Enterprise.
Secret Clearance w/an investigation in the last 5 years required.
