Description:
Administer sub-contracts including all aspects of cost, quality, and delivery in support of operational and strategic program objectives of the CH-53K King Stallion Program and promote flawless sub and prime contract execution.
Manage purchase order pricing and terms and conditions including flow-down of prime contract requirements, sub-contract change proposals, performance to contractual obligations and committed deliverables.
Responsible for the procurement cycle; purchase order placement and administration in support of purchase order execution to include negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance, hardware configuration tracking and interface with functional organizations.
Manage critical, time-sensitive and complex issues including: proposal evaluations, contract documentation, modifications for contract changes.
Act as a liaison between sub-contractors, sub-tier manufacturers, SAC Operations and program management teams in support of timely execution of programmatic goals.
Ensure supplier performs in accordance with purchase order terms, technical specifications, delivery schedule, etc. Monitor performance & milestones and participate in Program Design Reviews.
Manage the import and export of technical data, hardware, software, and qualification artifacts in full compliance with export license regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication, organization and project management skills required.
Strong background in government, international or commercial contracts a plus.
Experience in negotiating and communication with all levels of internal and supplier management is necessary.
Desired Skills:
SAP knowledge related to purchasing functions a plus.
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
