Description:
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) Manager on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) line of business. This position will be located in Arlington, TX. Position is responsible for the technical excellence of products and services and to ensure the LSE team achieves all program milestones on time and within budget.
The candidate will be supporting the PAC-3 Evolutionary Development and Production LSE Manager in developing, proposing and executing efforts within PAC-3 Logistics and System Safety areas. They will serve as the PAC-3 Logistics & System Safety lead ensuring the needs of new and existing customer requirements are clearly identified, communicated and successfully executed. In addition, they will serve as the conduit for functional communications and performance management for Logistics and System Safety personnel.
Plans, organizes, develops, and integrates program assigned functional efforts.
Implements functional processes, methods, and practices on assigned program.
Participates in requirements development for Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) scope of work.
Interfaces with customer and program office for area of responsibility.
Maintains an understanding of projects supported by assigned personnel.
Assists program to understand tasks and skills/experience required to perform tasks.
Provides timely communication and interface with functional and program organization.
Reports status of technical performance, schedule performance, and budget performance.
Participates in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings related to area of functional responsibility.
Present status and support IPT meetings, review Engineering changes and support Concept Screening Board and Configuration Control Board, as well as supporting Functional Configuration Audits by providing substantiating evidence to prove that requirements are met on new and modified designs.
Support development of logistics analyses, provisioning, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Life Cycle Cost Modeling.
Define repair concepts; develop and write maintenance tasks for field and depot repairable items.
Support system safety and software safety analysis, and associated tasking.
Create internal and external functional and program presentations, ensuring messages are communicated accurately, concisely and consistently.
Proposal development; Basis of Estimate (BOE), Statements of Work (SOWs), Deliverables.
Development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies, support execution of trade studies, validations, verifications, demonstrations and cost analysis associated with varying support options, and recommendation of system support strategies over the entire life cycle.
Some travel required.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
The ability to manage LSE teams in a Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) manner and diplomatically exert influence on the business operations of the represented programs.
Experience in systems full lifecycle management across multiple ILS disciplines.
Experience in design, implementation, and delivery of sustainment solutions.
Working knowledge of the tool used to document the design and maintenance actions, SLICwave or equivalent, as well as MIL-STD-1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007.
Experience leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers.
Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion with little supervision.
Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers).
Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program requirements.
Desired Skills:
Active Secret Clearance.
Engineering team lead experience in managing Logistics and Sustainment Engineering disciplines in the all phases of a program.
Project management training, experience and successful track record.
Knowledge of System Safety and Software Safety efforts and testing and verification in compliance with MIL-STD-882 or equivalent. Knowledge of Safety Engineering design practices.
Experience with IAMD products in general and sustainment of those products specifically.
Experience with the PAC-3 missile and ground systems.
Experience with depot operations sustainment principles and sustainment tools.
Familiar with depot operations as related to missile systems.

Experience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.
