We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift Echocardiography Technologist to join our team where under the general guidance of the physicians/providers you will perform a variety of diagnostic Echocardiography procedures.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:
* Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
* Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities
* Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic vascular and echocardiology ultrasound exams. Assists with invasive procedures performed by the Interventional Radiologist and/or Interventional Cardiologist requiring US assistance according to established standards and practices.
* Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
* Assists Radiologist and/or Cardiologist with interventional procedures as ordered (eg., venous reflux studies, venous ablations, US guided biopsy/aspirations, etc.).
Job Requirements
Education:
* Graduate of a Program In Discipline, required
* ARDMS, preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
* ARDMS (obtain within 3 years of employment)
* Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Assoc., - required within 90 days of hire
